This cover features Viola! I’ve been dying to share her with you, she’s one of my favorite characters.

But my favorite part of this cover? Pickles the cat. His expression just cracks me up. Initially I was going to have Jasper change it, as it clashes with the overall mood. Plus you could be getting stabbed repeatedly, and your cat wouldn’t bother raising his head. But then I thought, Modified is kinda like that – serious one moment, and funny the next. So Pickles’ expression stayed.
